'Alexander Hunter' is a large, upright shrub of compact growth, with single or slightly doubled, deep crimson flowers 10cm in width
'Bell's Seedling' is a small evergreen shrub forming a dense thicket, with small, dark green, prickly-tipped leaves and clusters of small white flowers in late spring and early summer, followed by dark crimson fruits 1cm in width
V. rhytidophyllum is a large evergreen shrub with glossy, conspicuously veined, oblong dark green leaves, domed clusters of small cream flowers in late spring, followed by ovoid red fruit ripening to black
'Erecta' is a non-climbing small evergreen shrub with erect shoots bearing crowded, bluntly arrow-shaped dark green leaves in two rows; no flowers
E. repens var. pulchrum is a trailing evergreen perennial to 10cm high, with purple stems bearing attractive grey-mottled, dark green leaves, veined deeper green, and purple beneath. Flowers insignificant
'Whiteleaf' is a lax perennial with light green leaves made up of three pointed lobes. The flowers, produced from late spring to late summer, are purple, each petal having a dark centre and lighter edge
'Variegatum' is a bushy evergreen shrub with ovate leaves margined with yellow, and small white flowers in winter and early spring
'Buckland' is a large, erect, evergreen shrub with spiny pinnate leaves and small, slightly fragrant yellow flowers in long, spreading clustered racemes in late autumn and winter, followed by blue-black berries
M. leuconeura var. erythroneura is a rhizomatous perennial to 30cm, forming a clump of broadly elliptic, dark olive-green leaves with a bright green central zone and bright red midrib and main veins
'Bokuhan' is a dwarf camellia with dark, glossy leaves and bright red, miniature anemone-form flowers in winter and spring
