Many families choose to give an in-memory donation to the RHS, to celebrate the life of a loved one and their passion for gardening or love of a favourite RHS Garden.
You can choose to donate towards a particular garden or towards the maintenance of the RHS flower collections or precious woodland and ornamental trees.
All loved ones can be acknowledged in the Book of Remembrance, held at each garden.
The Harlow Carr Woodland Fund
Donations to The Harlow Carr Woodland Fund help to preserve and support the planting within the enchanting woodland and the streamside garden which borders it. The woodland flowers grow under the dappled rays of spring sunlight amongst the dense foilage of beech trees and huge silhouettes of oak trees planted almost 100 years ago. The peaceful streamside garden provides an abundance of colour in the spring with spectacular planting.

The Hyde Hall Fund
Donations to The Hyde Hall Fund will help to support on-going landscaping of the garden, including care and maintenance of trees, hedgerows, wild plants and flowers, that give Hyde Hall its unique natural landscape. The hawthorn hedges provide beautiful spring blossoms and vibrant red berries in the autumn; the vibrant pink flowers of the Ragged-Robin and the yellow ‘snapdragon’ flowers of Toadflax blossom from July to October attracting Brimstone and Painted-Lady butterflies and provide nectar for bumble and honey bees.

The Rosemoor Jewel Fund
Donations to The Rosemoor Jewel Fund help to support the ornate and beautiful formal gardens, the “Jewels of Rosemoor”. From the intricately designed rose gardens, to the more informal Cottage Garden where shrub roses frame the traditional thatched shelter, along with clematis and scrambling honeysuckle. These gardens contrast with the vibrant mixed border plantings of the Hot Garden with its golds and purples, and striking red dahlias. The tranquil hues of the Spiral Garden are more restful on the eye, with colours flowing from yellow to blue, lilac and mauve.

The Wisley Plant Fund
Donations to the Wisley Plant Fund help support the planting of this richly diverse plant collection. One of the most famous views of Wisley, the Mixed Borders are full of bulbs, annuals, hardy and tender perennials, shrubs and pollarded trees. Battleston Hill, is also home to a flamboyant burst of colour, thanks to the collection of Rhododendrons, as well as mature trees. The Glasshouse showcases a world-class plant collection, including the RHS’s extensive and exotic tender plant collection.

RHS Garden Mobility Fund
Your ability to move around and enjoy the RHS Gardens is really important to us, so we have mobility scooters and manual wheelchairs available at each garden, free of charge. RHS supporter Sarah Upton (pictured, with her family) kindly donated a mobility scooter for visitors to Wisley, enabling more people to enjoy the gardens at their own pace. We are very grateful for the support of donors like Sarah, who help fellow gardening enthusiasts to make the most of our gardens.
You can help others to experience the gardens by making a donation towards mobility – simply print and return this donation form to us.

In-memory funds for all gardens
Trees play a vital part in all our lives, from moderating the climate to adding beauty, elegance and serenity. Donations to The RHS Cherry Tree Fund help the RHS maintain and plant trees within areas of woodland and the wonderful displays within the arboretums, fruit fields, pinetums and parkland across the RHS four gardens.
The RHS Flower Fund enables the RHS to continue to plant and maintain the beautiful flower displays and inspiring collections across all four gardens: Wisley in Surrey, Hyde Hall in Essex, Harlow Carr in Yorkshire and Rosemoor in Devon.
