Our four gardens give visitors access to diverse plant collections, innovative planting design and the highest horticultural standards and practices.

RHS Garden Harlow Carr

Set in a valley and very much a part of the Yorkshire countryside, Harlow Carr has a wide variety of growing landscapes, from running and still water to woodland and wildflower meadows. The original spa planting included Streamside bathing areas, and plans are in place to redevelop and replant this area of the garden. Additionally, we plan to reinstate the historical connection between the garden and the Harrogate Arms, its historic spa hotel.

RHS Garden Hyde Hall

Hyde Hall is one of the finest gardens in the East of England, full of intimacy and charm. We are restoring elements of its former rural glory, including historic hedgerows and woodland, while looking to the future with exciting new projects. The Global Growth Vegetable Garden, sponsored by Witan Investment Trust, will feature edible produce from all over the world. As a centrepiece for the new garden, we are planning a large glasshouse to increase the diversity of edible plants on display and help us deliver educational activities.

RHS Garden Rosemoor

Rosemoor boasts 65 acres of enchanting and inspirational gardens and woodlands, which provide year round interest for visitors. Two major features are the Queen Mother’s rose garden, for modern roses, and its companion shrub rose garden. The vibrant hot garden reaches a peak in summer, with vivid colours and ornamental grasses, and looking towards the future, the Bicentenary Arboretum will be one of our main focuses as it matures into a showcase of northern-hemisphere trees.

RHS Garden Wisley

Wisley is a centre of education for gardeners of all ages. View alpine plants at close quarters in the Alpine Display Houses, and glean planting, design and cultivation ideas for smaller gardens from the demonstration and model gardens. Planting varies enormously, from the mingling of herbaceous perennials and shrubs in the famous Mixed Borders to the lower-maintenance, prairie-style planting in the Glasshouse Borders.

RHS Garden Bridgewater

*Opening 2019*

Our fifth garden is planned to open in 2019. Its creation is part of the Society's wider, ten-year £160 million investment programme to achieve its Vision of enriching everyone's life through plants, and make the UK a greener and more beautiful place. Please check back soon if you would like to support this garden’s development with a donation.
