We have more than 800 employees and 1,000 volunteers, who provide the expertise and dedication that the UK's leading gardening charity needs to deliver its aim to enrich everyone’s life through plants and make the UK a greener and more beautiful place.
If you are interested in working for us we have employment opportunities ranging from: Gardeners to Retail Assistants, Scientists to Special Events Assistants, Digital Content Editors to Education and Learning Managers. Benefits for employees include complimentary tickets to the Society's flower shows, free entrance to all RHS gardens and generous discounts in our award-winning shops and plant centres, as well as pensions and life assurance.
There are many ways to volunteer with the RHS and we have volunteer opportunities across our gardens, shows and London office, as well as home-based roles supporting the Society's outreach work. In addition, we offer voluntary internships to students of horticulture, with some previous practical experience, who are seeking a short-term placement.
Training & qualifications with the RHS
We offer a comprehensive education programme, for those wanting to gain qualifications and or experience before entering the horticultural trade.
