School workshops

Our exciting workshops offer hands-on sessions for children at Foundation Stage, Primary and Secondary schools (KS1-4) with activities from edible plants to jungle journeys. We can also offer workshops for groups with Special Educational Needs (SEN) of all ages.

Prepare in advance

Our lesson and workshop plans (below) will help you prepare your pupils for their visit, so that they receive the maximum benefit from their day at Wisley.

How to book guided visits and workshops

  1. Choose a workshop from the Wisley Brochure (1.8MB pdf).  Detailed lesson plans for each of these workshops can be downloaded, along with pre- and post-visit ideas.
  2. Read our guidance for schools (259kB pdf) visiting RHS Garden Wisley
  3. Contact us to book and plan your visit.
  4. Book a pre-visit, we have two each term to help you gain the most from your day. Please note that free entry is only for those who will be accompanying children on the day of the visit.
  5. Use our self-guided resources to help you plan the self-guided part of your day.
  6. Please help RHS Wisley Garden create less pollution by recycling and carrying home your landfill waste.
